This is a uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar from Meiji 42(1909). It has a phoenix, dragon and peony motifs pattern, which is woven finely. Please check more photos for the details. The textile is silk with 'kinran', gold-leaf paper strips fabric, lined with cotton.
There are some noticeable stains, smudge, and fray but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
