This black haori is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has attractive dyed pattern - 'tsuzumi'(Japanese hand drum), paulownia and waterfall motifs are dyed colorfully in the black background!
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has very smooth and soft touch.
It has a pin hole, slight patinas and small stains. As a whole it is in very good condition.
