This vintage fukusa is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has FABULOUS picture, which is dyed with yuzen technique. In addition, many parts are added fine embroidery.
Its picture is the scene of Kyokushui-no-en, which is the noble people's game of Heian(794-1185) period. Player must make poem before the sake cup is coming on the stream. Please enjoy its unique details with more photos.
It has many patinas and couple of stains. There is a folding line in the center part( fray and slight discoloration there). Tassels are missing. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
