This is a fabulous uchikake from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It is made of ivory rinzu silk ( which has elegant kusudama motif pattern), and has fabulous crane and takara motifs, which is dyed with yuzen technique. Many parts are added colorful and gorgeous embroidery.
This piece is very special for its unique and artistic design and incredible embroidery details.
It has some stains, snags and a small hole in the bottom. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
