This purple uchikake is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has eye-catching phoenix and pine tree motifs, which are dyed with yuzen technique. Some parts are added fine embroidery.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has butterfly, wheel and flowers motifs.
Please enjoy its graceful atmosphere with photos.
It has slight discoloration in the white parts and there are couple of stains. As a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this wonderful Taisho uchikake!
