This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece is from pre WWII,
It has gorgeous Chinese castle and ship motifs, which are dyed with yuzen technique. Its yuzen work is graceful and impressive. It also has dynamic wave and artistic 'matsu'(pine tree) motifs, and they are making this deisgn looks even more artistic! Embroidery is added for the fine details, and roof on the ship motif is fully embroidered with gorgeously! Please check with more photos. The textile is silk and has soft, smooth touch.
It has some flaws as photos show. Some of the kinkoma embroidery parts are unpicked and coming loose, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
