This is a graceful black muso haori from mid Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
'Muso' means ' outside and inside is made of the same fabric, and not cut between outside and inside.'
This piece is made of sheer rinzu black silk and has elegant flowers and pine tree motifs inside, which are dyed. Its design is slightly seen from outside, which is the sophisticated Japanese beauty style.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has a small hole, stains and very slight discoloration, but as a whole it is in very good condition. ( Embroidery seam is coming off in E part.)
