This is a maru obi from pre WWII. It has 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) with uniue pattern, which are woven finely. Some of the kiku motifs are woven with gold threads and looks very appealing. Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
This maru obi has blank part like fukuro obi. Side hem is entrely discolored, and has stains, smudge, and patina sparsely. Noticeable folding line with smudge appears but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
