This is a maru obi from pre WWII. It has gorgeous royal cart, 'tsuzumi'(Japanese hand drum), and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) motifs, which are woven elaborately. Gorgeous gold threads are used at places and looks very eye-catching, Please check more photos for the dynamic details! Textile is silk and has medium touch.
There are a few fray on the corners, and noticeable folding line appears. It also has several snags on the woven parts but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
