This is a blue nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has gorgeous 'tsuzumi'(Japanese hand drum) with elegant flower motifs, which are woven elabroately. Some of the motifs are woven with silver threads and looks very appealing. Textile is silk and has soft touch.
There are sevaral snags on the woven parts, a few fray by the side hems on both sides, and discoloration and stains on the narrow side. End of the wide part in the back is torn(approx. 5cm-1.9'). As a whole, it is in very good condition.
