This is a kesa, monk's gown from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). Textile is asa(Japanese hemp) and cotton may be blended slightly, lined with thin silk.
It has special kind of comparatively stiff touch of asa.
It has some stains, snags, and pin holes, but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
