This is a fukusa from Meiji period(1868-1912). It has an artistic Takasago motif, which is elaborately embroidered. Please check more photos for the wonderful details! Textile is shusu silk and has soft smooth touch. Lining is chirimen(fine crepe) silk.
There are some patina, snags, smudge, and pin hole. Some of the stictches on the embroidery are coming loose but as a whole, it is in very good condition.
**Left square on the flaw indication paper shows the front, and right one shows the back of the fukusa.
