This is a charming Geisya's susohiki kimono from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has attractive design - flowers cart motif is dyed boldly!
What an artistic design it is!
Susohiki literally means 'trail the skirt' and it was worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room. It has very long length and eye-catching design.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has soft touch.
It has slight discoloration and stains, however as a whole, it is in a very good condition.
We highly recommend this fabulous black susohiki!
