This is a vintage men's brown haori. It has artistically designed samurai and geisha lady motifs in the lining which are dyed in a unique way. It seems this samurai is Kuranosuke Oishi( main character of Chushingura ) from kamon in his kimono. Only skin and part of kimono are dyed and its design looks very unique. The textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
There are some flaws as in the photos. Unfortunately, Kuranosuke motif is hidden in the middle by stitching. As a whole, it is in a very good condition.
