This is a fabulous koto(Japanese harp) cover set from pre WWII. They are in the wooden box, and made of exquisite silk.
Koto cover has dramatic noh actress motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique. Tassel and most flowers part are added wonderful embroidery work! Please check its incredibly beautiful details with more photos.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
We don't know how the rest two items were used, but they have beautiful embroidery works.
Koto cover has more than several stains and slight patinas in the pale tone part. The other side has several holes in one part.
The rest items have many stains and patinas. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
