This is a men's juban from pre WWII. It has boldly designed 'ariso'(jumping carp) with splashing wave motifs, which are dyed with shibori technique. Its composition looks very artistic and eye-catching! Please check more photos for the wonderful details! Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
There are some stains, wear, discoloration and patina but as a whole, it is in a very good condition.
