Have you ever seen a piece like this?
Wind mill scenery of Netherlands is dyed in 'ryozuma' ( mirror image design, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII) shape!
We are astonished to see its unique Western design - this piece is not contemporary one, and had to be made in Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and smooth touch.
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It is old, but basting stitches remain in the bottom. It seemed not be used often and there is not prominent flaws(discoloraiton is VERY slight and hardly noticed).
It is almost miracle that such unique piece remain in excellent condition.
We think this piece is the museum class piece!
