This is a kasuri cotton fabric from pre WWII. It seems to be from Yumigahama, and is hand woven. Eye-catching fan with Chinese charactor motifs are woven with weft ikat technique. Orange line parts are double ikat.
Textile is comparatively thick and has soft touch. Background color is natural ai color.
There are some flaws as in the photos but as a whole, it is in a very good condition.
