This is a vintage maru obi, seems to be from Meiji period(1868-1912). It has a detailed flying crane, 'matsu'(pine tree), and 'ume'(plum flowers) motifs, which are woven finely. It also has designed fan motifs, and they are woven colorfully. Please check more photos for the wonderful details! Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
Because of the age, its fabric is becoming weak. There are a few fray and noticeable tear(approx. 1cm-0.39' long) in the middle of the side hem. However as a whole it is in very good condition.
