This is a black nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has an elegant rose motif, which is gorgeously embrodered with shiny metallic threads. They look very colorful and appealing on the black fabric. Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
This obi is slightly discolored. It also has smudge at places on both wide and narrow parts. Several snags appear on the motif parts but as a whole, it is in a very good condition.
