This is a black nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has dynamic shishi with maple leaf motifs, which are woven gorgeously. Gorgeous gold threads are used for the details and looks very eye-catching. The textile is silk-jinken blend and has medium smooth touch.
There are a few small white stains on the wide part. Narrow part has several noticeable tear. There are also a few stains but as a whole, it is in a very good condition.
