This is a black nagoya obi from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has a charming 'karako'(karako is child figure in China) motif, which is dyed artistically. Narrow part also has a charmingf dyed motif. Please check more photos for the detail. Textile is silk and has soft smooth touch.
There are a few small stains and sparse patina on the motif part but as a whole, it is in a very good condition. It can be worn formally.
