This is a rare hitoe(not lined) susohiki from mid Showa period(Showa:1926-1989) or earlier.
It is made of ro, summer sheer silk, and has CHEERFUL yuzen dyed picture - fishermen are drawing up a net, and snails and wave are also dyed.

Susohiki lieterally means `trail the skirt' and this particular kimono is much longer than other kimono and the bottom is padded. This is worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room.
Usually, susohiki has many stains, but this piece only has very slight discoloration or very slight smudges in the hems. As a whole it is in very good condition.
