This is a uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar. It has tasteful cloud with flower petal motifs, which are woven gorgeously with gold threads. The textile is silk, lining is Japanese hemp.
It has several smudge, patina,stains and dye stuff on the woven part. Hemp part has prominent hole, smudge and dye stuff but as a whole, it is in a very good condition.
