This vintage haori has bold ume blossom motif, which is dyed with shibori technique. shibori is Japanese tie dyeing technique, and it gives the textile very unique texture.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has bold hollyhock motif.
Textile has soft and comfortable touch.
It has stains and discoloration as photos show. There is a seam in the middle of each sleeve front, which is not regular place.
However, it is still very charming piece!
