This is a maru obi from pre WWII. It has graceful flying crane and 'matsu'(pine tree) with wave motif pattern, which are woven elabrorately. Cranes are woven colorfully and looks very appealing. The textile is silk-jinken blend and has medium touch. There are a few fray by the side hem and corners, but as a whole, it is in a very good condition. *Approx background color - HTML code ( 05423C)
