This is a gorgeous antique uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar. It has exotic 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) pattern, which is woven boldly.
It seems to be lined with cotton and it was starched.
The right side has two holes and a small stain. Lining fabric has stains and small holes. As a whole it is in very good condition.
