This fabulous black uchikake is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has wonderful clam shell pattern, and in clam shells, scenery motifs and flowers are dyed colorfully. Please check its wonderful details with more photos.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch.
It has some flaws as photos show(black color is slightly discolored), but as a whole it is in very good condition.
