This black haori is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), and has WONDERFUL old fashioned taste!
'Kusudama'(flowers ball) motif is woven with urushi and metallic threads boldly, and characters(poem?) and shading pattern are dyed in the bottom part.
Its design and yuzen/woven works are both FABULOUS!
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has very slight discoloration or smudges, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this appealing vintage haori!
