This is a kimono from pre WWII. It has bold bamboo motif, which is dyed with shibori technique. Its shibory dyeing work has very detailed. It also has bamboo leaf attatched to the bamboo tree, which is dyed tastefully. Please check more photos for its fine dying work! The textile is silk and has soft smooth touch. There are some flaws as in the photos. Photo D,E, and F shows noticeable dye stuff and stains. However as a whole it is in very good condition. *Approx background color - HTML code ( 7966BF)
