This is an uchishiki from Meiji period(1868-1912) or earlier. It has bold phoenix and flower motifs, which are embroidered elaborately. The textile is wool, lined with polyester(seems to be added after).
It has many holes and smudge on the red part. Embroidery part has frays and snags but as a whole, it is in a very good condition.
