This is a fabulous nobori bata, flag for boy's festival day.
It is from pre WWII, and has wonderful Takasago motif, which is dyed with tsutsugaki technique.
Please enjoy its very skilled tsutsugaki details with more photos.
Textile is medium thick cotton, and has soft and comfortable touch.
Background color is beautiful deep ai navy.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this wonderful tsutsugaki nobori bata!
