This is a graceful purple Furisode from Meiji period(1868-1912).
Seashore scenery motif is dyed with yuzen technique, and some parts are added fine embroidery. Its subdued yuzen work is the feature of kimono from Meiji period. Please enjoy its wonderful details with more photos.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch.
Bottom is padded.
It has some stains and slight discoloration as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
