This is a such gorgeous 2 sets of Furisode and jyuban. These Furisode are for bride and they are from pre WWII. Black one has gorgeous flying crane and 'matsu'(pine tree) motifs, which are dyed boldly. They look fabulous on the black fabric! White one has 'ume'(plum flowers), 'kiri'(paulownia), and bamboo motifs, which are also dyed tastefully. Bamboo tree is designed very artistically and looks very appealing. Both furisde come with its jyuban, narrow obi for jyuban and obi jime. Obi jime and narrow obi has gorgeous woven pattern. All of them are made of silk and has soft comfortable touch. Due to the age, there are some flaws as the photos shows. Patina on the jyuban and white Furisode are quite noticeable. Black fusirode has a noticeable white stain(wear) on the neck part. As a whole they are in very good condition.
