This vintage kimono has bold fan and 'tsuzumi'(Japanese hand drum) motifs, which is woven with urushi coated threads and colorfully dyed!
Its design is exceptionally bold and impressive, and its urushi-weave/dye technique combination is rare and GORGEOUS!
Sleeves are very long, and has exceptionally gorgeous atmosphere.
It has full of fantastic old fashioned taste of Taisho period(1912-1925).
It has quite many stains ( they are darker or slightly reddish) and discoloration ( in the back side near the bottom part is comparatively prominent ).
However, it is still very BEAUTIFUL piece!
