This is an exceptionally rare Kurume kasuri cotton fabric, which was used as futon cover.
This piece has unique lantern and house motifs, which was hand woven elaborately.
This piece's design is unique and elegant!
It was from Meiji period(1868-1912) or Taisho period(1912-1925).

This piece was made for a bride of rich family.
Textile has medium thickness and has soft touch. Background color is navy.
It has slight flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this museum class Kurume kasuri piece!
