This fukusa is from Meiji period(1868-1912) and has wonderful crane motif, which is elaborately embroidered.
Navy shusu silk textile has woven pattern, and lined with chirimen silk.
It has slight patinas in the white parts. Black embroidery threads of tail are fully missing.
The other side has some stains and discoloration. As a whole it is in very good condition.
