This is a magnificent black uchikake made by Marusho, who is the maker of the top quality yuzen dyed uchikake in Yamanashi. When it was new, it cost more than $10000.
This piece is exceptionally gorgeous - dyestuff has resin touch, but its metallic color pattern is glittering in black background.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has slight frays and slight smudges. As a whole it is nearly in excellent condition.
