This is a men's haori from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). This haori has such an interesting motif. There are 3 men, 1 is telling the other 2 men to find something from the river. It seems that it is one scene from old Japanese tales. Unfortunately we donot know what this is from but it SURELY is the artistic one!
The textile is silk and has soft textured touch.
There are slight fray and a few noticeable stains. However the rest is in excellent condition and can be worn formally.
