This dramatic uchikake is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It is made of exquisite plain silk and has exotic
hagoromo and 'maku'(curtain) motifs, which are dyed with
yuzen technique.
Its design is bold and artistic! It is really an wearable art!
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
Some parts are added fine embroidery.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this dramatic black Taisho uchikake!
