This is hinagata pictures from Meiji period(1868-1912). It is design for kimono design, and was elaborately hand drawn. It was two pages of a book, and two pages are pasted in the hems. So you can enjoy two kimono design pictures.
Unfortunately the book seemed to be used as scrapbook( Why!! ), there are glue remains around the hem and in some parts paper is peeled or pasted-paper's scraps are remain. There also are some stains, but it is still valuable piece for its elaborate hand drawn pictures. There are severn holes in a hem for binding.
