This is a sakiori hanhaba obi. Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving.The rag strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
This piece has beautiful stripe pattern.
It has small holes mainly near one end, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
