This contemporary nagoya obi has tasteful royal cart motif, which is woven with tsume tsuzure technique. One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
Textile has special kind of stiff and comfortable touch of tsume tsuzure weave.
It has a slight folding line and there are very slight smudges at places ( hardly noticed ). As a whole it is in very good condition.
