This haori is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), and has high quality and artistic design. 'Kicho'( partition used by noble people in ancient days) motif is dyed with shibori technique, and many flowers motifs are elaborately embroidered. Please enjoy its wonderful shibori/embroidery work details with more photos. Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has large peony/uchiwa/stream pattern. Large pattern rinzu is one of the feature of kimono from Taisho period(1912-1925). It has slight stains as photos show.
