This purple kimono has dramatic 'yabane'(arrow feather) motif, which is dyed with shibori technique. shibori is Japanese tie dyeing technique, and it gives the textile very unique texture. Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It is lined with red silk, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has some stains and patinas as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
