This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece is from pre WWII, and has wonderful 'ryozuma' ( mirror image design, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII) pattern - sail ship, flying cranes and castle scenery are dyed colorfully, and many parts are added fine embroidery.
Textile is ro, summer sheer silk. It has some stains as photos show, but black color is alive and vivid. As a whole it is in very good condition.
