This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), and has very unique design - long tail bird and impressive geometric pattern are dyed in 'ryozuma' ( mirror image design, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII) shape. It has wonderful old fashioned taste of Taisho period(1912-1925).
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
