This purple irotomesode is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), and has fantastic old fashioned taste! Very unique and tasteful circle/cut firewood/leaf/flowers motifs are dyed elegantly. Both sides are added fine embroidery. Textile is chirimen(crepe) silk, and has very soft touch. Bottom is padded. It is very slightly discolored, and padding white silk are coming off in some parts ( they can be removed). A stitch in the lining is coming loose.
