This men's juban is from pre WWII, and has special kind of nostalgic motifs .
How cute the boys are!
In olden times, boys had close-clipped hairs, and played like these pictures. It is not my age, but it is just my father's boyhood!
Please enjoy its wonderful dyed details. In reflection of the age, this kind of men's juban and boy's kimono are often made of jinken(rayon), but this piece is made of plain SILK!
This piece is the excellent sample of the age.
It has some lines ( uneven lines of weaving) and several small stains. Lining has pin holes and stains. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this wonderful Taisho piece! |
