This is a dramatic yuzen uchikake from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
Phoenix, royal cart, bridge and wave are dyed boldly in the graceful purple background.
Some parts are added fine embroidery.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
There are other slight flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this dramatic purple Taisho uchikake!
